BMW 5 Series E39

1. Close a window of a forward door. Open other windows.
2. Disconnect a weight cable from the rechargeable battery. The battery is in a luggage carrier behind the right side facing.

At a detachment of the battery the memories given in electronic blocks, for example, memories of malfunctions of the engine are erased. Address recommendations of the Section Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery.

3. Isolate a negative pole of the rechargeable battery to exclude casual contact.
4. Remove facing of a door.

5. Rasstykuyte shtekerny connection (orange) side safety cushion. Disconnect a pillow, having unscrewed screws of fastening and put it a cover upward, for example in a luggage carrier.
6. Remove the door handle.

7. Carefully remove plastic facing in a back part of a cut of a door, incline it forward and record in such situation an adhesive tape (1).

8. Disconnect at the door lock the nipple (1) and a cable (2).

9. Rasstykuyte shtekerny connection of the microswitch of the uniform lock also take out it down.

1. Check whether there is a clip pad (for the blade) below in the middle.

2. Insert the lock into a door. At the same time a clip (1) (for the blade) the lock enter up into the blade (2) cylinders of the lock.

3. Join shtekerny connection of the electric motor of the uniform lock and record it.
4. Connect the microswitch plug.
5. Insert the nipple and a cable of the drive into the lock.
6. Insert a handle cable into a door framework.
7. Accurately paste foam facing on a door cut.

Avoid facing damages as it can lead to emergence of a draft in salon. Glue weight has to be put on all contour of facing.

8. Install the external handle of a door.
9. Fix a side safety cushion on a door framework. Join shtekerny connection (orange) of a side safety cushion.
10. Establish internal facing of a door.
11. Attach a weight cable to the rechargeable battery. Establish hours. Program stations of the radio receiver.
12. Check operation of the door lock, drive of the lock and uniform lock.
