Poddomkrachivaniye

At work under the car it has to be installed on the elevator or if there is no elevator, on two or four reliable supports.

You do not carry out works at all under the car if it has no reliable breaking-out or leans only on one jack. It is life-threatening!

1. It is possible to lift only the empty car on equal and the platform with a hard coating.
2. Car wheels which remain operty on the platform should be detached the wedges preventing movement of the car. Do not hope for the parking brake as the last can be lowered when carrying out a certain repair work.
3. The car should be fixed so that the support was sideways, from outer side.

For an exception of damage of the bottom of the car between a support and the car put rubber or wooden laying.

Point of support and rise

Points of support for an automobile jack and the elevator are rubber blocks on the lower beam which position is shown by shooters.

The automobile jack is established so that its basis leaned all surface, and the jack head at its rotation could pass in rectangular deepening of a beam.

Rotating the jack handle, tear off the car from the platform. Bring support under the car.

Towage

Removable towing eyes are located in a set of the onboard tool and before towage have to be wrapped in the corresponding elements of forward and back bumpers.

Forward towing eye

Open a carving opening. For this purpose press the cover having a symbol in the form of an arrow. The cover is on a front bumper on the right side.

Back towing eye

Open a carving opening. For this purpose press the cover having a symbol in the form of an arrow. The cover is on a rear bumper on the right side.

 RULES OF TOWAGE

1. Include ignition to exclude blocking of a steering wheel. It will ensure functioning of stoplights and the sound alarm system, and also work of screen wipers.
2. Install the lever of gear shifting in neutral situation. At cars with automatic transmission install the selector in situation "N".
3. On the towed and towing car turn on the alarm system.
4. As the amplifier of a brake and steering operate only at the working engine, the pedal of a brake and a steering wheel demand considerable efforts!
5. Application of a towing bar is recommended. At application of a towing cable there is a danger of arrival of one car on another. The towing cable has to be rather elastic to protect the towing and towed cars from dynamic pushes. It is recommended to apply a towing cable from plastic fibers to this purpose or a cable with intermediate elastic elements.

Cars with automatic transmission

Position of the selector of switching: "N"
Maximum speed of towage: 70 km/h!
Maximum distance of towage: 150 km!

At the damaged AT: For towage with higher speed and on longer distances it is necessary to lift driving wheels. The reason consists in the following. At the idle engine the pump AT does not work that does not provide necessary lubricant.

At use of the conveyor: The car can be towed only with the lifted driving wheels.

Start of the engine by means of towage

Start of the engine of the car with AT by means of towage is impossible.

The car can be started only at the cold engine since otherwise it is possible to damage the catalytic converter.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Include ignition.
2. Give gas.
3. Include the 3rd transfer, press on a pedal of coupling and hold it.
4. Begin towage or push the car.
5. Slowly include coupling.
