Removal and installation of system of release

All elements of system of release can be replaced separately.

At installation of elements of system of release you watch that they hermetically connected with each other. Otherwise at control of the fulfilled gases incorrect results can be received.

The self-stopped nuts and laying after removal surely have to be replaced with new. Rings and rubber support should be checked for existence of damages. If necessary replace them with new.

At installation of new system of release it is recommended to replace all elements of fastening with new also.

REMOVAL

1. Lift and install the car on supports. Remove the lower guard of a motive compartment, address the Section Removal and installation of the lower guard of a motive compartment.

2. Spray all bolt connections means for dissolution of a rust. Give some time for dissolution.

3. Turn off fastening bolts traverses around the catalytic converter.

4. Bring a garage jack under system of release and lay wooden laying. The weight of system makes 35 - 45 kg.

5. Turn off bolts of fastening and remove a reception pipe from a final collector (the petrol engine) or a turbocompressor.

6. Release fastenings on a transmission arm.

7. Turn off nuts (1) and (2) at the holder of the main muffler.

8. Disconnect system of release from holders.

The catalytic converter is afraid of blows. Avoid blows and you watch not to drop it.


INSTALLATION

1. Before installation of system of release into place check whether has a flange of a final collector of deformations. If necessary align it.

 

For a possibility of an otvorachivaniye of nuts and bolts of system of release it is recommended to grease them with high-temperature copper lubricant, for example, Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC or CRC paste.

2. Install into place system of release and will fix it by holders, without tightening bolts and nuts.

3. Expose system so that it had a uniform gap not less than 25 mm in relation to a body everywhere. Besides, the terminal pipe has to have uniform distance from a body around its selection.

4. Diesel engine: Fix a reception pipe at a turbocompressor. Previously check a sealing ring. If necessary replace it. Grease a ring with high-temperature copper lubricant.

5. Petrol engine: Establish a reception pipe at a collector with a new sealing ring and evenly fix it by the new self-stopped nuts in two steps by effort of 30 Nanometers + 50 Nanometers.

6. Tighten all bolts and nuts. In the last turn fix to RKPP a muffler beam so that the muffler had no tightness. The moments of an inhaling of threaded connections are given in Specifications.

7. Establish cross to a traverse, tighten bolts of fastening the moment of 20 Nanometers.

8. Start the engine and check tightness of system of release. For this purpose close the muffler a rag. By means of the assistant check leak of the fulfilled gases (characteristic noise, feeling a hand).

9. Establish the lower guard of a motive compartment, address the Section Removal and installation of the lower guard of a motive compartment.
