System of recirculation of the fulfilled gases (EGR system)

The fuel system of the diesel engine is equipped with system of the recirculation of the fulfilled gases (EGR system) allowing to reduce the content of oxides of nitrogen (N0x), dangerous to the environment, in the fulfilled gases. For this purpose a part of the fulfilled gases moves back in engine combustion chambers that it reduces temperature of combustion and, as a result, content of harmful substances.

The system is run by the DDE block which regulates amount of injectable fuel and processes signals of the sensor of the accelerator pedal, sensor of speed, the sensor of atmospheric pressure and temperature of cooling liquid. The control unit via the vacuum valve regulates a vacuum impulse to the EGR valve and watches the correct dosage of recirculation of the fulfilled gases. The EGR valve is in a final collector. At a low temperature of cooling liquid and need of increase in engine capacity, the fulfilled gases are not regenerated. The system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases does not demand leaving.
