BMW 5 Series E39

1. Uncover air intake, address the Section Removal and installation of the drive of a screen wiper/cover.
2. Disconnect a hose of the vacuum amplifier of a brake from the inlet pipeline, but not from the amplifier. For removal of a hose application of some effort is demanded.

3. Uncover a jellied branch pipe of the fuel tank. Turn off the screw-driver (shooters on an accompanying illustration) small covers and unscrew the screws which are under them. Remove two plastic facings.

4. Rasstykuyte shtekerny connections of the sensor of oxygen. Rasstykuyte plug of the electromagnetic VANOS valve. Address an accompanying illustration.

5. Remove a shtekerny level and take it aside.

6. Uncover at the inlet pipeline. Turn off a positive reference point (1) and squeeze two clips (arrows on an accompanying illustration). Disconnect a socle.

7. Remove a ventilation branch pipe in the top part of the block of cylinders. Address an accompanying illustration.

 

You do not smoke. There is a danger of ignition! Wipe the following fuel with a rag. Disconnect at first the pipeline of giving (1) (from the filter), then the pipeline of return of fuel (2) at the distributive highway. For this purpose open collars. At assembly collars need to be replaced.

8. Disconnect a branch pipe of a butterfly valve, address the Section Removal and installation of a branch pipe of a butterfly valve.

Do not disconnect the drive of gas and hoses of cooling liquid.

9. Disconnect a hose of return of oil at the directing pipe of the index of level of oil, previously having opened a collar. Address an accompanying illustration.

10. Turn off the directing pipe of the index of level.

11. Turn off bolts of fastening and remove a support of the inlet pipeline and a square of a hose of cooling liquid of the inlet pipeline. Address an accompanying illustration.

12. Rasstykuyte shtekerny connection (1) at the valve of ventilation of the fuel tank. Take out the valve upward from the holder. Press a collar (2) and disconnect a hose. Rasstykuyte shtekerny connection of the sensor of temperature of the soaked-up air and the valve of idling at the inlet pipeline. Address an accompanying illustration.

13. Turn off bolts of fastening and remove the inlet pipeline from a head of cylinders.

You watch that any objects did not get to inlet canals. It can lead to heavy damages of the engine.

1. Install the inlet pipeline on a head of cylinders and evenly cross-wise tighten bolts of its fastening. Before installation it is necessary to check all sealing rings (arrows on an accompanying illustration). In the presence of damages replace rings.

2. Fix a support of the inlet pipeline.
3. Join shtekerny connections of the sensor of temperature of the soaked-up air and the valve of adjustment of idling.
4. Insert the valve of ventilation of the fuel tank and put on a hose.
5. Fix a socle of a positive reference point on the inlet pipeline and screw a hexagon. Fix a cover.
6. Fix the directing pipe of the index of level of oil on the inlet pipeline.
7. Put on an oil return hose the directing pipe of the index of level, fix it by a collar.
8. Establish a branch pipe of a butterfly valve, address the Section Removal and installation of a branch pipe of a butterfly valve.
9. Put on hoses of giving and return of fuel the distributive highway. Establish new sealing rings and collars, address the subsection "Removal".
10. Fix the ventilation pipeline in the lower part of the block of cylinders.
11. Join shtekerny connections of the sensor of oxygen and the electromagnetic VANOS valve.
12. Establish a shtekerny level of valves of injection.
13. Fix a vacuum hose of the amplifier of a brake on the inlet pipeline.
14. Fix two covers of the engine. Put on caps of bolts.
15. Fix a cover on a jellied branch pipe of oil.
16 Establish an air intake cover, address the Section Removal and installation of the drive of a screen wiper/cover.
