Removal and installation of a radiator
In the course of long operation of the car channels in a radiator can be narrowed as a result of adjournment of the lime which is contained in cooling liquid. Thereof efficiency of process of cooling sharply decreases and the engine overheats. In this case it is necessary to change a radiator.
If oil got to a radiator, for example, owing to defect of sealing laying of a head of cylinders, it is necessary to remove and wash out a radiator and a broad tank after repair by a cleaner. This purpose requires about 2 l of a cleaner. After installation of a radiator it is necessary to fill several times all cooling system with hot water and to merge it. Water after washing of system has to be utilized as appropriate.

| 1. Remove the fan, address the Section Removal and installation of the fan and coupling of the fan.
2. Merge cooling liquid and utilize it, address the Section Cooling System Liquid Replacement. Check of frost resistance of a cooler. Visual check of the cooling system. |
3. Remove hoses of cooling liquid of big diameter from above and from below a radiator, previously having opened collars. Address an accompanying illustration.

4. Disconnect a cable from the sensor of level (13) at the left below at a radiator. Address an illustration before the table.
5. In the presence of the conditioner to a rasstykuyta shtekerny connection of the thermorelay (10) on the right at a radiator. |
6. Remove hoses of the oil heater (if it is available) AT at a radiator. Collect the flowed-out oil and utilize it. Close hoses that dirt did not get to them. Address an accompanying illustration.
| | Radiators of the power steering, conditioner and, as a rule, AT are before an engine radiator in the holder. For removal of these radiators it is necessary to remove an engine radiator previously. The contour of cooling of the conditioner should be opened only on HUNDRED with use of special technical means. There is a danger of accident. |

7. Remove a sealing uvula (1) upward. Turn off bolts (2) at the left and on the right. Remove both holders of a radiator (3). Address an accompanying illustration. |

8. Take out a radiator upward.
| | Plates of a radiator have sharp edges. Therefore for removal of a radiator it is recommended to use mittens. |
