BMW 5 Series E39

1. Merge cooling liquid.
2 Take off maple a belt, address the Section Removal, installation and a tension of a maple belt.
3 Remove a radiator.
4 Turn off bolts of fastening of a pulley. At the same time hold a belt from a provorachivaniye, having squeezed it. Remove a pulley from a nave.

2. Turn out four bolts of fastening of the pump of cooling liquid. At the 6-cylinder engine nuts instead of the bolts shown on an illustration turn away. Address an accompanying illustration.

3. Screw two bolts of M6 in openings (the shooter on an accompanying illustration) and evenly wring out the pump from the engine. You watch that the pump did not warp. At the diesel engine carving openings for an extraction of the pump are vertically one above another, (shooters on the previous illyustr.).

1. Remove squeezing bolts. Replace a sealing ring of the pump with new and oil silicone or vaseline.
2. Install the pump with new laying and evenly fix it. The moment of an inhaling of bolts depending on a carving is presented in Specifications.
3. Fix four bolts of fastening of a pulley by the moment offered by Specifications.
4. Establish maple a belt and pull it, address the Section Removal, installation and a tension of a maple belt.
5. Establish a radiator, address the Section Removal and installation of a radiator.
6. Fill system with liquid and remove air, address the Section Cooling System Liquid Replacement. Check of frost resistance of a cooler. Visual check of the cooling system.
7. Start and warm up the engine. Check hose accessions and the pump for tightness.
