REMOVAL

1. Remove a back brake disk.
2. Disconnect a forward coupling spring. Check a spring. Replace a spring with traces of a rust.
3. Squeeze a face key 5 mm a compression spring a little, turn on 90 ° and remove a spring from a block.
4. Similarly remove springs from other brake shoes.
5. Part blocks above and remove them down.
6. Check ease of the course of the lock. If necessary remove it. For this purpose pull a detail (1) down, squeeze out a finger (2) and remove a detail (3) from a cable.

Installation

Surely replace brake shoes on both wheels at once.

INSTALLATION

1. Apply a thin film of Molykote-Paste G lubricant on the sliding surfaces and a finger of the lock.
2. Enter the lock with a finger (2) into a cable of the drive of the parking brake.
3. Deploy the device of adjustment of brake shoes (1). A carving slightly grease "Molykote" and turn again. 4. Install the device of adjustment of brake shoes from below between blocks. Connect below a coupling spring (2) (a spring of smaller diameter).
5. Insert brake shoes. Above they have to enter lock grooves.
6. Squeeze two springs of brake shoes a face key of 5 mm, having at the same time turned them on 90 °. Marking is in a closed position on a bolt head, as shown in an accompanying illustration.
7. Hook nippers on the top coupling spring.
8. Brake shoes (shooters on an accompanying illustration) have to adjoin to a support of a brake board.
9. Establish a brake disk and a back wheel. 10. Adjust the parking brake, address the Section Adjustment of the Parking Brake.

If brake shoes of the parking brake were replaced, they have to be earned extra on the road with not the heavy transport traffic as follows:
From the speed of 40 km/h carefully tighten the parking brake so that braking process began. Keeping speed, tighten a brake on one tooth and pass about 400 more m. Release a brake and let's it be cooled. The specified process extra earnings irrespective of replacement of blocks is recommended to be carried out quarterly since at the same time from working surfaces of brakes the appeared rust and the postponed wear products is removed.
