Removal of air from the brake system

After each repair of the brake system at which the system was opened air can get to it. After that it is necessary to remove air from system. A sign of availability of air in system is decrease in brake pressure. In this case it is necessary to eliminate leakage of system and to remove from it air.

Air from system is removed the kachatelny movements of a brake pedal. The help of the assistant is for this purpose necessary.

On HUNDRED the special device is used to removal of air from system, as a rule. By means of the specified device in system via the tank of brake fluid it is created superfluous pressure in 2.0 bars.

If it is necessary to remove air from all system, then air is removed separately from each wheel. It needs to be done when air got to each wheel cylinder. If only one support was under repair or replaced, it is enough to remove air from the concrete cylinder, as a rule.

Sequence of removal of air following:
   -  The support is back right
   -  The support is back left
   -  The support is forward right
   -  The support is forward left

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a protective cap from the union of pumping of air of the brake cylinder. Clear the union, put on it a pure hose. Lower other end in the capacity half filled with brake fluid.
2. Ask the assistant to press a brake pedal so many time how many it is necessary for creation in system of pressure. Pressure in system is felt on increase of resistance of a pedal.
3. Having created necessary pressure, press a pedal to a floor. Do not release a pedal.

4. A cap key unscrew the union of removal of air approximately on one turn. Collect the following liquid in capacity. You watch that the end of a hose constantly was in liquid. Address an accompanying illustration.

5. After weakening of pressure of liquid close the union.
6. Repeat swings of a pedal that again pressure was created. Again press a pedal. Open the union so that pressure fell. Close the union.
7. Repeat the described process on each brake cylinder until the liquid following in capacity does not contain vials of air.
8. After removal from system of air remove a hose, close the union and put on it a protective cap.

In the course of removal of air watch the tank of brake fluid. Level of liquid should not go down strongly, otherwise air can get to system.

Add only new brake fluid to system.

9. Similarly remove air from other brake cylinders.

10. After removal of air add brake fluid in the tank to the mark "MAX". Check a condition of sealing laying of a cover.
Attention, check reliability:
   a) Whether brake hoses are fixed?
   b) Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder?
   c) Whether the union of removal of air is tightened?
   d) Whether enough brake fluid in the tank?
   e) On the working engine check tightness of system. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort 200 - 300 N (20 - 30 kg) and you hold it during 10 pages. The effort of pressure of a pedal of a brake to a leg should not weaken.
   f) Check all connections for tightness.

11. After removal of air from system the brake pedal should not be pressed through when pressing it. If it occurs, again carry out the procedure of removal of air from system.

Brake fluid needs to be utilized in a special way.
