Removal and installation of a brake disk / support of a forward brake

If the support is disconnected only for removal of a brake disk, do not disconnect a brake hose. Otherwise after installation air has to be removed from system. Suspend a support on a wire so that not to overwind a hose and not to pull it.

 REMOVAL

1. Mark with paint the provision of a wheel concerning a nave. Thanks to it the balanced wheel can be established in former situation. Turn off bolts of fastening of a wheel on the car standing on the earth. Lift and install the car on supports and remove a wheel.
2. Slightly press a pedal of a brake and press it. For this purpose between a pedal and a seat put wooden whetstone, having shifted a seat back and then forward. Thus, after a detachment of the brake pipeline the effluence of brake fluid is excluded from the tank and hit of air in system.

3. Disconnect the brake pipeline at the connecting coupling. Otherwise it is impossible to disconnect a brake hose at a support. Address an accompanying illustration.

At the same time a quantity of liquid can flow out. Collect liquid in the capacity intended especially for storage of brake fluid.

4. Turn out bolts of fastening (1) of a support and remove a support from a brake disk.

5. Turn out the screw of fastening (4) by a face key of 5 mm.

6. Remove a brake disk.

The ventilated disks are balanced. It is not necessary to take out or displace balancing brackets on the internal diameter of a brake disk.

Installation

For ensuring uniform braking of both wheels brake disks have to have a surface with an identical roughness. Therefore surely replace or pierce both disks.
On HUNDRED brake the disk is checked for a beating. The maximum beating of a disk should not exceed the value presented in Specifications (the established disk means).

 INSTALLATION

1. Measure thickness of a brake disk, address the Section Measurement of Thickness of a Brake Disk.
2. If on a disk and a nave of a wheel there is a rust, remove it.
3. Clear new disks a nitrothinner.
4. Establish a brake disk on a nave of a forward wheel and fix by a face key. Previously turn a disk so that openings under bolts coincided.
5. Establish into place a support with brake shoes.

If the brake hose is attached, watch to overwinding and to stretch it. Check freedom of movement of a brake hose at full turn of a steering wheel.

6. Fix a support by slightly greased bolts the moment of 110 Nanometers.
7. Establish wheels directly. Fix a hose in the holder and attach the brake pipeline a cap nut. You watch that the brake hose was not overwound. Check freedom of movement of a hose at full turn of a steering wheel.
8. Remove air from the brake system, address the Section Removal of Air from brake systems.
9. Establish and fix forward wheels. Do not oil fastening bolts. Establish wheels so that the markings put at removal coincided. Lower the car on wheels, tighten fastening bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 Nanometers.
10. Turn a steering wheel to the right and on the left against the stop and check whether the brake hose freely moves, without touching for adjacent a design.
11.

Several times strongly press a brake pedal so that resistance was felt. At the same time brake shoes will nestle on a disk and will reach the working position.

12. Check the level of brake fluid in the tank. If necessary add it to the mark MAX.
Attention, check reliability:
   a) Whether brake hoses are fixed?
   b) Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder?
   c) Whether the union of removal of air is tightened?
   d) Whether enough brake fluid in the tank?
   e) On the working engine check tightness of system. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort 200 - 300 N (20 - 30 kg) and you hold it during 10 pages. The effort of pressure of a pedal of a brake to a leg should not weaken.
   f) Check all connections for tightness.

Brake fluid has to be utilized in a special way.
