Removal and installation of the lever of a cross suspension bracket

After installation of a forward suspension bracket it is necessary to check its geometrical parameters.


 REMOVAL

1. Mark with paint the provision of forward wheels in relation to a nave. Thanks to it the balanced wheel will reach the former position. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel on the standing car. Lift and install the car on supports. Remove forward wheels.
2. Remove the lower guard of a motive compartment.

3. Turn off fastening bolts (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and remove the cross lever from a forward beam.

4. Vypressuyte the sharovy hinge on a rotary support.


 INSTALLATION

1. Clear a sharovy finger of the hinge and an opening in a rotary support (remove lubricant traces).

2. Install the sharovy hinge. Put a washer (3) and screw the new self-stopped nut (2). Tighten its moment 80 Nanometers.
3. Connect the cross lever a bolt (1) to a beam of a forward suspension bracket. Do not tighten a nut.

4. Fix forward wheels. Do not oil bolts of fastening of wheels. Establish wheels so that the markings put earlier coincided. Lower the car on wheels. Tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel cross-wise the moment of 100 Nanometers.
5. Install the car in normal situation. The following conditions have to be for this purpose satisfied:
   a) The car has to stand on wheels.
   b) Front seats have to be on average situation.
   c) Each seat has to have loading of 68 kg.
   d) On back sitting in the center there has to be freight weighing 68 kg.
   e) In the center of a luggage carrier there has to be freight weighing 21 kg.
   f) The fuel tank has to be completely filled.
6. Fix the cross lever on a beam of a forward suspension bracket by the next moments:
      •  6-cylinder engine: 81 Nanometers,
      •  8-cylinder engine: 77.5 Nanometer.

7. Establish the lower guard of a motive compartment.
