Tempostat

The system allows to remember and to automatically support the required speed at the level of not lower than 30 km/h.

The system can be included after turn of the ignition key in situation by 1 pressing of the key shown by an arrow. At the same time on an instrument guard the control lamp lights up.

By repeated pressing of a key the system is switched off.

1. The button of the movement with the set speed, storing and dispersal
Press the button.
The actual speed which is supported by a constant is entered into memory of system. Each subsequent pressing of the button speed will increase by 1 km/h.
If to hold the button in the pressed situation, then the car will accelerate without impact on an accelerator pedal. If to release the button, the speed reached by this moment will remain in memory of system and will be supported by a constant.

2. Delay button
Press the button.
If before the movement already happened in the mode of maintenance of the set speed, then by each pressing of the button speed will decrease by 1 km/h.
If to hold the button in the pressed situation, then at the movement in the mode of maintenance of the set speed extent of opening of a butterfly valve automatically will decrease and the car will be slowed down. If to release the button, then the speed reached by this moment will remain in memory of system and will be constantly supported.

3. Call button
Press the button.
There will be a call of the last of the entered values of speed to which it at first will be brought, and then will begin to be supported by a constant.

4. Button of switching off of automatic equipment
Press the button.
Automatic equipment of maintenance of the set speed at once will be switched off.

Besides, the system is automatically disconnected in the following cases:
- During the braking, switching off of coupling or when translating a control lever of AT from situation D in situation N.
- For BMW 520i, 523i, 528i, 535i, 540i: if the set speed is exceeded throughout more than 30 with and more than on 16 km/h.
- For BMW 525tds: if the set speed is exceeded more than on 16 km/h or decreases more than by 20 km/h.

With turn of the ignition key in situation 0 the system will be switched off, and the entered value of speed will be erased.

It is impossible to use automatic equipment of maintenance of the set speed if the route abounds with turns or if the increased intensity of the movement does not allow to move evenly, and also on slippery (because of snow, a rain, ice) the road or weak (gravel, sand) soil. Otherwise your style of driving will not correspond to a road and transport situation.
