Check of tension of charging of the generator

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn on the voltmeter between positive and negative poles of the rechargeable battery.

2. Start the engine. At the same time tension can fall to 8 V (at an external temperature + 20 °C).

3. Increase engine speed to 3000 rpm. Tension at the same time has to make 13.0 - 14.5 V. Eto points out serviceability of the generator and regulator. The generator tension (onboard tension) has to be higher, than tension of the rechargeable battery that in the course of the movement it was charged.

4. Check the regulator. For this purpose turn on driving beam and measure tension at 3000 rpm. Tension should not exceed more, than on 0.4 B values, received at the previous measurement.

5. If malfunction was not found, check brushes or repair the generator (work HUNDRED).
