Check of a condition of protective covers of power shafts
Protective covers of power shafts are very important elements since they protect the hinges of equal angular speeds (HEAS) from the hit on them of dirt, water and other foreign objects causing damages. External pollution of protective covers oil and lubricants can lead to premature failure of material of covers therefore it is recommended to wash periodically covers with water with soap.

1. Check whether there are no lubricant traces on covers (1) in close them. Address an accompanying illustration.
2. If the cover is pressed inside owing to existence in it of discharge, it needs to be replaced urgently.
3. Check fastening of collars (2). |

4. Light a cover with a lamp and check existence of a time and cracks. In the presence of cracks the casing needs to be replaced urgently. |
