BMW 5 Series E39

1. 520i 523i 528i: Press at the left and on the right on pads of the holder of the filtering element and take out the holder.

2. 525tds: Disconnect the inlet pipeline. Turn off bolts and uncover a head of cylinders.

3. Take out the filtering element of the air filter.
4. Wipe with a rag the filter case.
5. In the presence of small pollution carefully beat out an element, having turned the polluted party down. Replace the greasy filter.

Do not clear the filtering element gasoline and do not cover it with oil. Do not blow the filter compressed air.

1. Insert the new filtering element into the case. Laying has to be in a groove.
2. 520i 523i 528i: Insert the holder and record both lock pads.
3. 525tds: Evenly fix by bolts a cover on a head of cylinders. Fix the inlet pipeline on the engine.
