BMW 5 Series E39

1. Remove a peak on the end of a door.

The peak consists of two parts. At first remove the screw-driver a middle part, then external.

2. Through an assembly opening enter the BMW-513202 tool and raise a safety bar (1) of a lock plate (2) over a safety pad (3).

3. Enter the BMW-513201 tool into an opening of a lock plate (2) and press it at the raised safety bar (1) forward.

4. Take out the BMW-513202 tool.

1. Remove facing of a door.

2. Make independently a hook of a wire of Ø of 2 mm. The end unbend at right angle, x = 5 mm.

3. Insert a hook instead of the tool 513201 through an assembly opening in a door end face into an ear of a lock plate.
4. Displace against the stop forward a lock plate with a hook.
5. Raise a bar (1) of a lock plate (2) the screw-driver under a lock pad. In this situation displace a lock plate with a hook (3) forward so that cuts in a lock plate released the external handle of a door. On an accompanying illustration the provision of a lock plate at the removed external handle is shown. 3 - the hook entered an ear of a lock plate.

6. Take away the handle down and pull at an angle down.

1. Insert the external handle of a door into place and press it.

2. Pull a lock plate (2) the BMW-513202 tool or a hook back so that it was recorded a safety plate.

3. Press the external handle and check its work.
4. Establish into place facing if she acted.
5. Insert into place a peak at a door end face. At the same time at first record an external part, then press average.
